Handkerchief Hem Midi Dress

Tis the season for outdoor activities, festivals, and all things fun! This past weekend I attended Princeton, New Jersey’s Communiversity Arts Festival which is a fair filled with music, food, shopping, and fun! The streets are lined with local restaurant booths selling amazing food, shops selling their best jewelry and clothing, choreographed group dances performing all along the road, and there is even a stand filled with puppies that you can adopt…I could spend hours there just petting the cuties! When I attend outdoor events such as these, I always make sure I pick out an outfit that is fashionable but most importantly comfortable for me to walk around in all day. The last thing you want is to be roaming around and thinking about how much your feet hurt or how you wish you had picked out a different outfit. Black Off The Shoulder Shirt

Off the shoulder shirts are most definitely my favorite trend of this Spring and Summer. The silhouette is dreamy and romantic and shows off the perfect amount of skin…enough to feel flirty but not over exposed. One of my favorite off the shoulder tops is this black one I am featuring in the pictures below. I bought this top from a local boutique where I work and from the second it arrived into the store I knew that I had to have it. I love wearing off the shoulder tops with distressed jeans to balance out the femininity of the shirt with the edginess of the jeans.

Hello readers! It’s finally starting to feel a bit more like Spring as each day passes by…the sun is staying out longer and the air is getting warmer and I couldn’t be any more happy about it. Every morning this past week I have been getting up and running to my bedroom window to see if the buds started to form on the trees…can you tell I’m excited for everything to bloom!?
